TO UNDERSTAND
Your brain is a transmitter, your body is a receiver, your heart is the motor and your energy is a battery. Together, they form a system, and if one of these four elements fails, nothing can function properly. To understand how our system works is to regain control over ourselves. How does it work? :First of all, it's important to understand that our brain, body, heart and energy don't work in isolation, but interact constantly to maintain our balance.
-
The brain, as a transmitter, generates signals, thoughts, ideas and emotions. It sends impulses that influence our perception of reality, our decisions and the way we act. However, these impulses are not simply abstract thoughts: they have a direct impact on our body, which receives and reacts to them.
-
The body is the receiver of these signals, but it is also much more than that: it is the vehicle of our experience, the means by which we interact with the outside world. Every sensation, every movement, every physiological reaction stems from this constant reception of information from our brain. However, if the body is tired, tense or unbalanced, it can misinterpret these signals, and responses become ineffective or even harmful.
-
The heart is the engine of this system. It's where our deepest emotions manifest themselves. When we feel love, joy, sadness or anger, it's our heart that vibrates in harmony with these emotions. But the heart is not limited to this emotional dimension: it is also a physical actor, supplying the body with oxygen and vital energy. A strong, balanced heart enables us to maintain our energy and connect with our inner strength.
-
This is where energy comes in. Like a battery, it powers our overall system. When we're full of energy, everything seems fluid: we have the strength to act, think clearly and connect with others. But if this energy is dissipated, blocked or mismanaged, the whole system suffers. We feel exhausted, demotivated, disconnected from ourselves and our environment.
These four elements form an indivisible whole. If one of them falters, the whole system is affected. The result can be a muddled mind, a suffering body, a closed heart or sluggish energy. Understanding this interdependence is the key to well-being, so regaining control over ourselves means first of all becoming aware of the necessary balance between these four elements. It means listening to the signals sent by our body, our heart, our mind and our energy, and knowing when it's time to adjust one or the other to maintain harmony. It takes practice, patience and, above all, a willingness to authentically reconnect with ourselves.
