EATING WELL

Food is our fuel, and just like a car, it’s essential to use the right fuel; otherwise, it may not function properly and could damage the engine over time.

Our body needs high-quality nutrients to function optimally: proteins for muscle regeneration, carbohydrates for energy, healthy fats for proper brain function, as well as essential vitamins and minerals. An unbalanced diet, high in ultra-processed foods, refined sugars, and saturated fats, can lead to fatigue, digestive issues, and, in the long run, chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular conditions.

On the other hand, prioritizing fresh, varied, and natural foods helps maintain good energy levels, strengthen the immune system, and enhance overall well-being. Just like a well-maintained car runs longer and more efficiently, a well-nourished body stays healthy, full of vitality, and ready to take on each day.

It causes blood sugar spikes followed by energy dips, promoting fatigue and irritability. In the long term, it increases the risk of diabetes, obesity, and metabolic disorders. It can also impair concentration and become addictive.

FAT

While healthy fats are essential for the body to function properly, saturated and trans fats, found in processed foods, increase the risk of inflammation, weight gain, and heart disease. They can also affect mood and mental clarity.

SALT

In excess, it promotes hypertension, water retention, and the risk of cardiovascular disease. On a mental level, a diet that is too salty can impair cognitive responsiveness and increase stress.

ALCOOL

In high doses, it affects the liver, weakens the immune system, and promotes heart disease. It also impairs judgment and memory, and can lead to mood disorders and even addiction.

DRUGS

Their effects vary depending on the substance, but they all disrupt brain function, leading to cognitive impairment, mood swings, and increased risk of psychiatric disorders. Physically, they weaken the body and expose the user to serious illnesses.
